The primary mission of the Northwest Louisiana
Government Procurement Center is to increase the number of federal, state, and local government contract award dollars being
awarded to businesses located in our region of the state, thereby creating and retaining jobs.
The Government Procurement Center, a member of APTAC, is a cooperative agreement between the Defense Logistics
Agency (DLA) and the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce’s NWLA Economic Development Foundation.

events, handles registrations, assists clients with general questions and refers them to the appropriate Procurement Counselor.
She also provides military and Department of Defense adopted specifications and government procurement histories to our manufacturing
